Attention, first-time divers! If you've ever wanted to learn how to scuba dive, this is the adventure for you. You and three other beginners will have the full attention of a professional instructor as you practice the fundamentals in a swimming pool. Once in the weightlessness and comfort of the water, you'll learn how to use the included equipment, deal with water pressure and breathe through a regulator. Then, a dive boat will take you to the Pedernalis shipwreck, an oil tanker torpedoed by a German submarine during World War II. As you dive 25 feet below the surface, explore the ship's remains of cabins, scattered out between wondrous and colorful coral formations. Have your underwater camera handy because the waters are full of tropical fish, stingrays and magnificent sea turtles. Back on the boat, you'll return to Oranjestad.
