Discover the charm of Kuranda Village, a scenic mountain retreat nestled in the World Heritage-listed rainforest. Enjoy free time to explore art galleries, local craft shops, and cafés, or visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (own expense).
Travel by Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding above the rainforest canopy in a gondola. As you soar over lush treetops, take in breathtaking views of North Queensland's coast, the Coral Sea, and Green Island. Midway, disembark at Red Peak Station to explore boardwalks and visit the Rainforest Interpretive Centre to learn about the region's diverse ecosystems.
Descend via the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, built in the late 1800s. Journey through 15 tunnels and across 37 bridges, winding past spectacular waterfalls, deep ravines, and rugged mountain terrain within Barron Gorge National Park.

The train is equipped with bench-style seating and is not air-conditioned. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for guests with mobility limitations. Guests with a fear of heights or who suffer from vertigo or claustrophobia should assess their ability to participate.Sequence of tour stops may vary. Please note the market stalls are open Wednesday to Sunday only.
