Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, on this unforgettable full-day adventure. Depart Cairns aboard a high-speed catamaran and enjoy a 90-minute cruise to the outer reef, guided by marine experts dedicated to the reef's preservation.
As you travel, a team of local experts will present an overview of the reef's fascinating ecosystem. Once moored at a specially selected reef location, don your snorkel gear and dive into a vibrant underwater world teeming with colourful fish, coral gardens, and a dazzling variety of marine life. You may even spot turtles, dolphins, or reef sharks.
For added excitement, introductory or certified scuba diving is available (at an extra cost). You can also participate in the Eye on the Reef program by helping to identify and log marine species you encounter, contributing to the reef's ongoing conservation.
Back onboard, relax in air-conditioned comfort and savour a tropical buffet lunch, refuelling for more aquatic exploration or relaxation on deck.
Photo opportunities abound, both above and below the waterline, with spectacular views of coral atolls, marine wildlife, and the reef's crystal-clear waters.
Stretching 1,200 miles along Queensland's coast, the Great Barrier Reef is the planet's largest reef system, encompassing over 2,000 islands, nearly 3,000 reefs, 400 coral types, 1,500 fish species, and 4,000 types of mollusks-a truly magical marine environment.
