A comprehensive tour of Curaçao takes you from the colorful sights of Willemstad to the dramatic countryside landscape and includes a number of popular attractions. Begin at the Curaçao Museum in Otrobanda. Founded in 1946 and housed in a colonial-style building dating back to the 1800s, the museum showcases contemporary and traditional art from both local and international artists. Then, drive through the island's north side for a unique glimpse at the stark landscape, flamingos and traditional villages. Arrive at Hato Caves for a walking tour of the dramatic underground grottos. Marvel at the imposing stalactites and stalagmites and the underground waterfalls. Cross the Queen Juliana Bridge, one of the highest bridges in the Caribbean, for panoramic views, then visit Chobolobo, the Dutch colonial mansion where the famous Curaçao liqueur is distilled. Tour the grounds, sample the liqueur, and purchase bottles. Upon return, you may remain in town for independent sightseeing.
Special Notes:
At Hato Caves, visitors must negotiate 50 steps to enter and exit the grottos. Participants must be at least 21 years old to sample alcoholic beverages. Tour sequence may vary. Walking shoes and comfortable attire are recommended.Child Price:
