Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Explore the natural wonders of Litchfield National Park, a 580-square-mile expanse of lush forest, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic sandstone formations in Australia's Top End. Your scenic drive from Darwin passes historic WWII airstrips and the rural town of Batchelor before ascending to the Tabletop Range, where dry woodlands and sandstone plateaus dominate the landscape.
Upon arrival, marvel at the park's iconic Termite Mounds-hundreds of towering structures, each over six feet tall, built by millions of termites and uniquely aligned with the Earth's magnetic field.
Continue to Wangi Falls, or Nyunydjurr as it's known to the local Aboriginal people. This segmented waterfall plunges between 130 to 170 feet through a series of rock tiers into a lush rainforest pool. A viewing platform offers excellent photo opportunities of the falls and surrounding monsoonal greenery.
Enjoy a locally sourced BBQ lunch featuring fish or chicken, accompanied by garden and mixed salads, fruit, tea, and coffee.
This unforgettable day in Litchfield National Park offers a deeper appreciation of Australia's natural beauty and Indigenous heritage.
