Designed for our guests who prefer to see the sights with little or no walking involved, enjoy a relaxing narrated drive through enchanting Edinburgh taking in all the celebrated points of interest and historical sights. Board your motorcoach and begin a scenic drive to the city center of enchanting Edinburgh. Alive with culture and history, the capital of Scotland is a thriving city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival in Edinburgh, visit the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street. Continue to the true heart of the city, the medieval Old Town as your tour crosses the Royal Mile, one of the oldest streets in Edinburgh. The Royal Mile connects Edinburgh Castle with the Palace of Holyrood, which was the official residence of the Queen whilst in Scotland. Then, drive through New Town, home to elegant Georgian buildings and Princes Street. At the conclusion of your tour, the motorcoach returns to the ship.

The content of this tour is identical to SQ1-290. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for tour SQ1-290. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory.

If you cannot transfer or your personal mobility device cannot be easily disembarked, you may be precluded from going ashore. Because of staffing limitations, we recommend you be accompanied by someone who is physically able to assist you both onboard and onshore. Please fill out the Mobility Questionnaire (PDF) and return to the Access Office: accessofficeprincess@princesscruises.com or faxed to 661-284-4408 at least 60 days prior to sailing. With your safety and comfort in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit guests from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship's Captain, and the decision will be final. Ports that normally use tenders to access the shore are noted on the itinerary.

Wheelchair-accessible transportation is available on a very limited basis for accessible passengers.

Holyrood Park is closed every Sunday and may also be subject to road closures.
