Showcasing the flora and fauna of the region, this wonderful full day in nature includes a visit to an animal sanctuary that shelters Tasmania's wildlife, explores Mt. Field National Park, and features a visit to Meadowbank, a working sheep farm with an award-winning winery. The day includes lunch. Your journey begins at Mt. Field National Park, where a trail walk takes you through stands of the world's tallest hardwood trees to spectacular Russell Falls. Take a moment to peruse the gift shop and Interpretation Center. Next, it's a relaxed visit to Meadowbank, a working sheep farm with an award-winning winery. Sample the wine during a three-course lunch at Meadowbank Winery. Then, at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, you'll observe some of Australia's most famous natives, such as Tasmanian devils, wombats, kangaroos and wallabies. Animals roam free in their natural habitats, and you'll get a chance to interact with many of them. Return to port.
