Trace Oahu's volcanic origins on this half-day driving tour via air-conditioned vehicle with a drive along the base of the world famous Diamond Head, a massive extinct volcano, and the Pali Lookout. Travel past Kahala to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking Hanauma Bay, a curved bay and marine preserve formed when the side of a crater collapsed thousands of years ago. Continue past the Halona Point and the famous blowhole where waves surging through a submerged lava tube erupt in a spectacular geyser of sea water! Take in the dramatic panorama as you pass Makapu'u Point arising 647 feet above the ocean. Savor breathtaking island views at the Pali Lookout, site of a bloody battle in 1795 in which King Kamehameha I forced hundreds of his opponents to jump to their deaths from the cliffs there. A brief stop for a refreshment and some shopping included.
