Your scenic drive takes you all the way to the rim of Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" according to Mark Twain. And your riverboat cruise is a sentimental journey up the Wailua River to Fern Grotto, with Hawaiian music and dance along the way and a live performance of "The Hawaiian Wedding Song." Special Notes:
Wear comfortable, sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Guests must be able to negotiate a few steps on the boat. Insect repellent is recommended. On Christmas Day a boxed lunch will be substituted for the buffet as the restaurant is closed.Paths around the Fern Grotto might be slippery. No inside visit to the Grotto is permitted.
The stop at Opaekaa Falls is time permitting; the stop may not be made on all tours or by all buses.
