Embark on a kayak adventure in Tongass National Forest. Your excursion begins as you board your motorcoach for a scenic, narrated drive out of downtown to Knudson Cove, an "off the beaten track" waterfront property. Upon arriving, you'll receive a basic kayaking and safety class before. You'll board your tandem kayak and quickly gain confidence as you paddle to the Eagle Islands in Clover Pass. The protected waters of Clover Pass offer the opportunity to enjoy the tranquil setting of the Tongass National Forest. Along the paddle, you'll learn about the natural and cultural history of the area while keeping a keen eye out for bald eagles, seals and jumping salmon. After nearly two hours on the water, you'll end your day with a hot beverage and a relaxing return drive back to the pier.
