Get a whole new perspective on Alaska on this tour that combines flightseeing aboard an authentic Alaska bush plane, a thrilling water landing, and a succulent crab dinner at a rustic Alaska lodge. As your flight takes off from the bustling Ketchikan harbor, panoramic views of Revillagigedo Island and the Tongass National Forest are revealed. After 20 minutes of spectacular scenery, you'll experience the thrill of a water landing at the remote Salmon Falls Resort, a 5-star fishing lodge. You'll snack on salmon lox crostini as you learn of the lodge's colorful history and enjoy awe-inspiring views. Sip wine or Alaskan beer as the culinary team prepares your main course. Indulge your tastebuds with a delicious green salad, Dungeness crab cake, salmon with cilantro rice, halibut with lemon-garlic butter and mixed berry cobbler for dessert. End your day with a scenic coastal drive back to the pier.
Special Notes:
Tour may operate in reverse order. Vegetarian options are available. Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as passenger safety and comfort, the airline has advised that guests weighing 250 lbs. or more (fully clothed) will be assessed a weight surcharge of $168. In any case where the necessity of the surcharge is verified, it will be paid directly to the tour operator just prior to the flight departure. Carry-on bags are not allowed and there is limited secure storage at the hangar. Aircraft fly no higher than 4,000 feet. Oxygen for personal use is allowed but must be in the form of an FAA approved portable oxygen concentrator that can be secured to the user's body. Occasionally weather may cause the flight portion of this tour to be canceled. In these instances a modified version of the tour will be offered at a reduced price.Flightseeing excursions are not refundable unless cancelled by 12:00pm on the day after embarkation.
