Feel worlds away from life's hustle and bustle as you witness Alaska's wild, rugged beauty and awesome scenery during an exhilarating e-bike and nature walk. This active adventure begins with a stop at the outfitters where you'll pick up a electric mountain bike and put on a helmet and rain poncho. After a few safety instructions, you'll follow your experienced Alaska trail guide along a gently sloped, historic three-mile-long trail through the Tongass National Forest. While riding under a canopy of Sitka spruce and western hemlock trees, you may see Sitka black-tailed deer feeding on the native hemlock, berries, and lichens. Soon, you'll reach a rustic creek-side camp where you'll gather around a warm campfire and to roast marshmallows and sip a hot beverage. Recharged, you'll embark on a short nature walk with your guide who'll share his knowledge of the forest's flora and fauna.
