Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

Embark on a fun-filled family adventure combining an exhilarting zipline tour and the action-packed Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. After a scenic drive to a private rainforest at Herring Cove, you'll board a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle and drive to the Canopy Chalet. Here, you'll receive a detailed safety briefing and gear up for your flight over eight ziplines. You'll witness panoramic views of Bear Creek and a forest waterfall, and ocean, forest and mountain vistas from the platforms. Each successive zip ride provides a unique perspective and a new challenge. At the end of the course, rappel to the ground from the last tree platform. Back at the base camp, enjoy time to shop at the General Store and explore the on-site totem park. Transfer back to downtown Ketchikan and watch rugged, real working lumberjacks compete head-to-head in the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. During the action-packed show, you'll see Alaska's frontier lumberjacks battle British Columbia's premier woodsmen in a no-holds-barred competition for the title "Bull of the Woods." These world champion athletes are featured in springboard chopping, buck sawing, axe throwing, log rolling and the thrilling 50-foot tree climb, while your colorful host shares stories of lumberjack lore. Afterwards, you're free to wander the town, or simply take the short walk back to your ship.
