Ride into Mexico's wild west like a vaquero with a small group tour of Rancho San Lorenzo, a traditional working ranch nestled in the heart of La Paz's countryside. Your expert guide will provide all the necessary safety gear and instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Then, you'll be paired with your perfect horse and start your adventure with a ride through breathtaking mountain trails offering incredible views of the valley, lush hills with majestic desert flora and impressive distant peaks. Back at the ranch, you can pet, brush, and learn about the ranch animals like goats, sheep, donkeys, cows, chickens and more. After your ranch hand activities, unwind in the tranquil ranch setting. Enjoy leisurely walks to explore the grounds, savor freshly made tacos available for purchase at the kitchen, or simply relax in a shaded area while taking in the stunning surroundings.
Special Notes:
The minimum age to participate is 12, max is 65. The max weight allowed per person is 240 lbs. For safety reasons, expectant mothers, guests with neck or back problems, recent surgeries, or patients with diabetes, epilepsy, blindness, asthma or any other heart or respiratory conditions are not eligible to participate in this excursion. Helmets will be provided and must be worn. Participants must be able to walk long distances without difficulty.The horseback riding experience is for all experience levels; from beginners to experienced riders. Wearing closed shoes is mandatory, and it's recommended to dress in cool, outdoor-appropriate clothing and long pants. Bring biodegradable sunblock, eco-friendly insect repellent, cash for extra purchases, head cover and sunglasses.
