Travel approximately one hour to La Amistad National Park and climb aboard the state-of-the-art open-air aerial gondola that will take you on an enchanting ride through the primary rainforest. Admire 300-year-old trees and enjoy fantastic, uninterrupted views of the virgin rainforest in the largest national park in Central America. Upon reaching the river, disembark and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the rainforest on the "Trail of the Giants," so named for the gigantic trees that line the trails, or opt to hike to view the magnificent Puma waterfall. Visit Costa Rica's best snake, frog, and butterfly exhibitions in an unparalleled interactive setting. Finally, visit the Veragua Foundation biological research station where work is dedicated to ecology and forest preservation.
