You and your fellow passengers will cover plenty of ground on this fabulous half-day tour, which combines the best of the city, with the best of Portugal's beautiful coastline.

Your day starts after being welcomed by your guide at the pier, for the scenic drive through the city's financial district, the Baixa, before stopping for pictures at Alto do Parque Belvedere, the city's much loved park.

The beauty of this open space is that it sits on a hill, so you'll be able to take in the singularly stunning views of the city before boarding the motorcoach for the short drive to Estoril.

This gorgeous beach resort used to be a fishing village but is now a popular tourist destination, and boasts Roman ruins going back 2000 years. The town is also home to the famous Estoril Casino, which during World War II was reputed to be a clandestine meeting place for spies, and is said to be the inspiration for Ian Fleming's James Bond novel, Casino Royale.

You will have plenty of time to wander freely along the pretty promenade here, and maybe enjoy a drink or snack at one of the seafront cafés.

Getting back onto the motorcoach, you will drive back to Lisbon along the road that runs along the banks of the Tagus, passing under the 25th of April Bridge, to the city's Belem district. Here, you will be able to the view the incredible Belem Tower, a unique stone structure that was once a fortress and lighthouse. You will also be able to take photographs of the striking Monument to the Discoveries, a modern monument on the banks of the Tagus that commemorates Portugal's great seafarers and is shaped like a ship.

Your route will also take you past the 16th century Gothic-inspired Jeronimos Monastery, which was built with profits from the spice trade, and is revered as one of the most prominent landmarks in the city. Then sit back and relax on the short motorcoach journey back to the ship, as catching glimpses of life in Lisbon, from your comfortable seat.
