Los Angeles is not all glitz and glamour, skyscrapers and concrete. There are areas of LA where you can be at one with nature. Your all-day tour takes you first to The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, a trio of treasures built by railroad and real estate baron Henry E. Huntington as his private estate. Founded in 1919, the Huntington boasts an impressive set of statistics: 42,000 works of art, 11 million library objects, 430,000 rare books and 120 acres of breathtaking gardens. You can explore at your leisure and have lunch on your own at several of the available options within the grounds. Another must-see site is Griffith Park, a prominent green space that rises above Los Angeles, and features the iconic Art Deco architecture of the Griffith Observatory. From the viewing decks, you'll can admire the panoramic views of Los Angeles and surrounding mountains.
Special Notes:
Please note: This tour will not run on Tuesdays because the Huntington Library will be closed. On Mondays, the tour will visit Griffith Observatory for views, but will not enter the exhibits since the building is closed.Details
