Discover Marseille's historic Le Panier (Old Town) through your camera lens. Your walking tour not only meanders from one iconic site to another but you'll also have free time to explore on your own. After meeting your guide on the pier and a shuttle bus transfer, you'll disembark near the Vieux-Port (Old Port) and begin your walking tour through the small, compact village settled by Greeks in 600 BC. With camera in hand, you'll have views of stunning Notre Dame de la Garde, whose founding dates back to the 13th century. Just minutes away is La Major Cathedral, a blend of Romanesque and Byzantine styles with intricate mosaics and breathtaking Mediterranean views. For panoramic city views, you'll walk to Mucem Museum, devoted to European and Mediterranean civilizations, and the 400-year-old Fort Saint-Jean. Then, you'll have time to explore on your own and return by shuttle.

There are approximately 2 hours of walking included in this tour.Uneven surfaces need to be negotiated, with inclines. Guests may stay longer in town if they wish to enjoy more free time, and then return to port by shuttle bus (included in the price). Not suitable for guests using wheelchairs/walkers or with walking difficulties.
