Discover fascinating Newport on a comprehensive driving tour that orients you to more than 150 points of interest. Board your transportation for a scenic drive through the city. Your narrated tour passes the town's historic section with its many authentic and restored buildings. Continue past the towering Trinity Church with its magnificent Georgian design. See Redwood Library, the oldest lending library in America, and a fine example of Palladian architecture. Get a glimpse of the beautiful Gothic Church of Saint Mary's, the wedding site of Jacqueline Bouvier and JFK. Your tour continues with a drive along a spectacular stretch of Ocean Drive. You'll enjoy glorious views of Newport's rugged southern coastline as well as a promenade down famed Bellevue Avenue to view the fabulous "summer cottages." Many additional sights are included and at the completion of your tour you may opt to remain in town for independent sightseeing and shopping.

The content of this tour is identical to NPT-215. Only guests using a wheelchair can book this tour, as it ensures accessible transportation. Due to the specialized nature of some lift-equipped vehicles, priority is given to guests using a wheelchair and one companion only; additional companions may be required to travel on the transportation provided for tour NPT-215. Bookings not marked with an accessibility requirement will be removed from the tour's inventory.In ports where guests utilize tender boats to go ashore, Princess staff will make every effort to assist but are not allowed to individually physically lift more than 50 pounds (22kg). Guests requiring physical assistance must travel with a companion who can assist. With your safety and comfort in mind, the final decision to permit or prohibit guests from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship's Captain.
Tour guides/drivers may not lift any wheelchair or scooter weighing over 50 pounds. Although guides may provide verbal guidance to guests, they may not lift guests or push wheelchairs. Guests requiring physical assistance must travel with an able-bodied companion. The maximum weight limit is 475 pounds. Guests need to plan accordingly and may elect to bring a collapsible wheelchair instead of a scooter. Please visit the tour desk once onboard to advise the staff what kind of wheelchair or scooter you will be using on the tour.
