Stunning scenery and historical sights dating back thousands of years are on display on this full-day tour. Begin at Orkney's symbol of reconciliation and peace, the Italian Chapel. From here, continue to a local hotel for an audio-visual VIP tour and tasting provided by expert Highland Park staff. Then, travel into the Heart of Neolithic Orkney, the Islands' UNESCO World Heritage site, and view the important ritualistic landmarks set within remote landscapes. Pass by the Standing Stones of Stenness, one of the oldest stone circles in Britain. Visit the Ring of Brodgar and tour the 27 ceremonial stones believed to have been used to study the stars more than 4,500 years ago. Take in the splendor of the towering Cliffs of Yesnaby, and see ancient Skara Brae, a stone settlement revealed after a storm battered Orkney in 1850. Tour the 17th century Skaill House, Orkney's grandest mansion. Return to port.
