Description
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
The long Scandinavian summer evening, the scenery and the beautiful islands of the Oslofjord captivate on a traditional, fully restored, open-deck, wooden-boat sail through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays. Your three-hour adventure begins when you don your non-slip shoes and grab a jacket for a short walk from the pier to the vessel. Climb aboard and set off to discover Oslo from this unique vantage point, taking in Hovedoya and other small islands, landmarks such as the Dyna Lighthouse, and the peninsula of Bygdoy, home to heritage museums as well as beaches such as Huk Bay. You'll glide by the Maritime Museum and the veteran sailing ships that bob in the waters, as well as the Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name. After filling your camera, refresh with a beverage and tuck into a Norwegian fresh shrimp buffet served on board.
Special Notes:
Please be advised that there might be a short walk of up to 400 meters to join the boat. The boat has a short, steep gangway and steep steps to reach the onboard toilets, however there is a handrail. A jacket, hat and comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended. There is no shade on the top deck, so extra care needs to be taken of exposed skin in sunny or windy conditions.Details
