Lunch with the Lorikeets

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind family experience where nature and lunch come together! From the pier, it's a short drive to Wildlife Habitat, Australia's leading environmental wildlife rescue center, spanning eight acres dedicated to conservation.
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed into a covered enclosure for a casual lunch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of native birdlife. Keep your eyes open for colorful rainbow lorikeets, cockatoos, parrots, curlews, and herons, all roaming and flying freely. These vibrant lorikeets, with their red bills, blue heads, and iridescent feathers, are a joy to observe.
After lunch, explore the Grassland Habitat, where you can pat and feed kangaroos and wallabies. Wander into the Wetland Habitat to meet Australia's iconic koalas, and continue to the Rainforest Habitat, home to the elusive cassowary, a large flightless bird native to the rainforests of North Queensland.
Feeling adventurous? You can choose to hold a small crocodile or snake for a thrilling photo opportunity (available for purchase). The park is also home to freshwater and estuarine crocodiles, along with unique reptiles like Boyd's Rainforest Dragon.
