Enjoy a driving tour and sea cruise in one exciting excursion. First you'll travel through the historic and contemporary sights of Portland and along the beautiful craggy coast to Fort Williams, home of Portland Head Light, Maine's oldest lighthouse. Next you'll return to Portland and board the Schooner for a leisurely two hour sail around Casco Bay. This legendary tall ship is an 88-ft wooden schooner with an experienced crew who will share their knowledge of the sea and sailing. So sit back, relax and take in the sights of Casco's waters, listen to the barking of the harbor seals, and watch for an occasional eagle. If you prefer, you can join the crew and help hoist the sails. At the conclusion of your schooner experience guests make their own way back to the pier a short 5 minute walk to the pier.
Special Notes:
Tour may operate in alternative order. Participants must be able to walk approximately 200 yards (optional) over even surfaces with 5 steps to board the schooner.
