This delightful day-long excursion will enthrall young and old, as you discover the beautiful Corobici River on a gentle, family-friendly rafting adventure. Journey along the Pan American Highway to the breath-taking Guanacaste Province, named after Costa Rica's national tree. Arriving at the put-in point on the Rio Corobici, your experienced guide will provide you with a river orientation and safety briefing. You will then spend the next two hours floating and paddling down river as your guide points out the flora and fauna. There's a good chance that you will see a variety of birds including kingfishers, cormorants and boat-billed herons from the nearby Palo Verde National Park, plus otters, monkeys, anteaters, iguanas and lizards. After your float, savor a delicious traditional lunch at a local restaurant, then browse the gift shop for souvenirs before heading back to Puntarenas.
Special Notes:
This active excursion is suitable only for passengers in good physical condition. The minimum age required to participate is 8 years old.
