Enjoy the beauty of Sitka up close on a small-group (maximum of six participants) tour and experience the Alaskan wilderness - the perfect adventure for outdoor enthusiasts in good shape. Begin with an ocean cruise as your captain/guide maneuvers through the waters for spectacular scenery and potential wildlife viewing. Enter picturesque Camp Coogan Bay and learn what it's like to "live off the grid" at the Boar's Nest Floathouse. Next is an exhilarating hike in the Tongass National Forest. Walk through old-growth trees on ungroomed, natural trails while learning about the abundant flora and fauna. You'll reach a placid lake, stocked with small and abundant trout. Inflatable canoes invite you to paddle along the shoreline or try your luck with rod and reel. Alternatively, you can explore on foot or relax by the campfire. Refresh with a snack, hike back to the boat and enjoy the cruise back to port.
