Experience the natural beauty and history of Dyea on a leisurely bicycle ride along five miles of easy scenic roads within the Klondike Gold Rush National Park on this three-hour excursion.
Upon arrival in Dyea, you'll be given an orientation and standard safety briefing before setting out on your bike ride. Guides versed in the area's ecology and history lead you along a bike route covering five miles of flat terrain for easy pedaling. Ride through the rainforest, visiting historic ruins, the Chilkoot trailhead and coastal tidal flats where eagles, salmon, colorful wildflowers and dazzling mountains are often in view. This tour is ideal for those seeking to get away from the crowds and enjoy mild exercise in the fresh Alaskan air.
Special Notes:
Guests must be confident on a bicycle and comfortable using hand brakes. Wear walking or sport shoes. Participants must be at least 4'6" and 10 years old.Liability waiver is required to be signed in the presence of the tour operator.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 16 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without a parent or guardian.
