The perfect option for those who enjoy exploring on foot, discover exciting Vigo on a guided pedestrian tour. Vigo is a little hilly, so lace up your comfortable shoes, then set off from port along Montero Ríos Avenue, where you'll pass the statue of author Jules Verne, who wrote about Vigo Bay in his book 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Continue down lovely Concepción Arenal Street towards Compostela Square and Gardens as you admire the modernist architecture. Stop for refreshments at a local bar, then head over to the financial area of the city, the so-called "money crossing," then on to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Príncipe Street lined with shops, García Barbón Theatre and the heart of the city Puerta del Sol, as well as the sculpture of El Sireno (The Merman). Stroll through the charming Old Quarter for Constitution Square, then return to the ship or explore Oyster Street independently.

Special Notes:

This tour involves 1 ½ hours walking including some steps, slight inclines and uneven ground , thus it is highly not recommended for passengers on wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.
Sensible/comfortable rubber shoes are recommended as it may get slippery in some points when wet.
