Anne & Gilbert: The Musical
Since its launch in 2005, the show has become the most successful and critically acclaimed new musical in Canada in recent memory. The show is heralded for its award-winning songs, wonderful staging and costumes, and memorable message of hope, friendship and love. This family-friendly show is based on the novels of Lucy Maud Montgomery, with the first act centering on Anne of Avonlea and the second act based on Anne of the Island.
What you will see along the way:
A stroll down Great George Street covers a six-block stretch through historic Charlottetown beginning at the waterfront. The walk concludes at the theater. Great George Street was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1990, as much of its domestic architecture dates from the Confederation era. Along the way, take in the variety of landmark structures, including the Province House National Historic Site of Canada and the Gothic details of St. Dunstan's Basilica.

Special Notes:

Notes:
There is a 30-minute walking tour from the ship to the theater and back. Guests arriving after the performance has started will not be permitted entry until intermission. Photography or videotaping are not allowed in the show.
